So, more human remains popped up on Thursday, and it seems they’re likely from a 19-year-old Wisconsin woman who tragically met a gruesome fate after going out with the suspect. A torso and an arm were discovered on a remote part of Lake Michigan’s shoreline, not far from an apartment complex.
The suspect in this chilling case is Maxwell Anderson, 33, from Milwaukee. He’s facing some serious charges—first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson—in connection with the death of Sade Robinson, also from Milwaukee. Their date on April 1 took a horrific turn, according to the sheriff’s office.
Since then, bits and pieces of Robinson’s body have been turning up in different places. A severed leg was found near a bluff by the water’s edge, preliminarily identified as hers. Then, more remains surfaced in Milwaukee, including a human foot near train tracks, believed to be linked to the same person.
Authorities are still piecing together the puzzle, but Anderson’s been behind bars since April 4, with a hefty bail of $5 million hanging over him. And there’s more to come—the investigation into Robinson’s death is ongoing, with plans for further searches in Lake Michigan to find any remaining traces of her.
It’s a chilling story that highlights the darkness lurking beneath the surface, but hopefully, justice will prevail for Sade Robinson and her loved ones.
